"Can you draw my chain?"
I get requests like this a lot. People
want me to add those little things
they feel proud of. Jeremy has a great
face - lots of freckles. I had to strike
a balance between drawing just
enough freckles and not one more,
because I sensed that he might be
sensitive about them. I did draw
his necklace on his teeny cartoon
body. He smiled when I gave him the
picture.
